Ranomics is looking for a talented research scientist to become part of its core research and development team. This research scientist will play a key role in the development, optimization and implementation of techniques for studying disease protein function.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensures up-to-date knowledge on human genetics and genomics.
- Communicates finding clearly to other team members.
- Develop clinically relevant assays to study protein function in model organisms.
- Study genotype-phenotype relationships of disease genes.
Minimum Qualifications (Must have)
- PhD level training with a strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry.
- Expertise working with model organisms (yeast, worms, flies and/or cell culture) using high-throughput techniques.
- Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills, with great attention to lab notebook documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with next-generation sequencing experiment and data analysis.
- Self-motivated and passionate about healthcare.
- Previous start-up experience.
